Instructions

  1. Stand in front of a cable machine with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Grasp the cable handle with one hand, palms facing down, and lift it up to shoulder height.
  3. Keep your elbow tucked in close to your body and your upper arm stationary throughout the exercise.
  4. Take a step to the side to create tension in the cable.
  5. Extend your arm down towards your side, fully straightening your elbow, while keeping your upper arm still.
  6. Pause momentarily at the bottom of the movement.
  7. Slowly return to the starting position by bending your elbow and allowing your forearm to move upward.
  8. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions and then switch arms.
